Fargo, ND - August 15, 2008 - Thomas Schneider has been named Chief Operating Officer of Intelligent InSites. In his senior role in the company, he is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations, financials, professional services, administration, facilities, human resources, legal, and assisting in setting the company's strategy and goals.

Schneider has over 25 years of leadership in high technology, distribution, and energy related companies. He brings proven results and executive level experience in operations, sales and marketing, supply chains, strategic planning, distribution, business development, market analysis, systems development, organizational design, engineering, and project management. Schneider has extensive knowledge in the technology and energy areas, working with clients ranging from Fortune 100 to small businesses.

Prior to joining Intelligent InSites, he was president of MagTec Energy, a leading alternative energy manufacturing company. At MagTec, he was responsible for the company’s direction, operations, business plan development and execution, and marketing strategy. Schneider was instrumental in helping launch MagTec, and developed strategies to build new market opportunities. Prior to that, he spent over ten years at Border States Electric, one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States. At Border States he held vice president positions in the sales and marketing areas in three divisional areas of the company including the industrial automation, data communications, and utility markets. Schneider also spent fourteen years at Basin Electric Power Cooperative, one of the largest electric cooperatives in the country, as an electrical engineer and project manager.

Schneider holds an MBA from the University of North Dakota, a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University, and an AA Degree from Bismarck State College.
